RTK reference station: official manual firmware tool

Models covered
LUBA series (RTK reference station hardware)

Why this page exists: the mower body's firmware is OTA-only, with no official manual flashing path — that's what the Android rollback guide is for. The RTK reference station is different: Mammotion publishes an official, sanctioned tool for it.

What's confirmed

Mammotion has an official page with instructions for manually updating the RTK reference station's firmware using a tool called LubaBaseStationUpgrade (currently at version 1.0.6), connected via USB-serial. Builds are offered for Windows, macOS ARM, and macOS Intel. This is a real, sanctioned mechanism — not a community workaround — and it's a legitimate download source since it points to Mammotion's own page rather than a third-party mirror.

Download status: currently working

A roboter-forum.com thread shows the full arc of this issue: on 4 July 2026, a LUBA 1 AWD5000 owner (who had just updated mower firmware to 1.10.6.268 and lost RTK connection) reported the official download link was broken. A later reply in the same thread confirms the download now works — the poster tested the Windows build (LubaBaseStationUpgrade.exe) directly and it downloaded and ran successfully.

This was confirmed working as of that thread reply, not independently re-tested by us on every visit to this page — if you hit a broken link again, that's worth reporting via the thread above or to us directly, since it's evidently intermittent.
